▸ Longevity & Functional Medicine / Live signal

Beauty starts from the inside.

We treat aging almost like a disease — one that's preventable, measurable, and responsive to the right inputs. Through advanced diagnostics and root-cause medicine, we help you minimise medication and maximise the years you actually feel good in.

CH 02
A consultant, not a replacement

Keep your primary care doctor. Add us.

Our goal is not to be your primary care doctor. Keep them for your base coverage, refills, and routine care. Think of us as a consultant on the care you've been receiving — a second set of eyes with advanced training in longevity, hormones, metabolism, and functional medicine.

We zoom out, look at the whole picture, and ask the question most 15-minute visits never get to: what is actually driving this, and how do we fix it at the source?

CH 03
The diagnostics

Testing that goes deeper.

In addition to comprehensive metabolic, inflammatory, and hormonal panels, we partner with best-in-class labs to look at the systems standard primary care almost never touches.

TruAge

Epigenetic & biological age testing

Through our TruAge partnership we measure your biological age, pace of aging, and key aging biomarkers — so we can treat aging itself as a modifiable condition and track whether your interventions are actually working.

Diagnostic Solutions

Advanced stool & gut testing (GI-MAP)

Comprehensive stool analysis through Diagnostic Solutions to map your microbiome, identify pathogens, inflammation markers, and digestive function. The gut is upstream of energy, mood, autoimmunity, weight, and skin.

Home Sleep Study

In-home sleep apnea testing

We partner with a home sleep testing company to evaluate sleep apnea quickly — no months-long sleep-lab waitlists. Poor sleep silently drives hypertension, weight gain, brain fog, hormonal dysfunction, and heart disease.

Wearables

Continuous data from your devices

Bring your Apple Watch, Whoop, Oura, Garmin, or CGM. We integrate your wearable data — sleep, HRV, recovery, glucose, activity — into your care plan so optimisation is driven by real life, not just lab day.

Comprehensive Labs

Hormones, metabolism & inflammation

Thyroid, adrenal, sex hormones, advanced lipids, insulin resistance markers, inflammation, micronutrients, and aging biomarkers — interpreted through an optimisation lens, not just 'normal range'.

InBody 970

Medical-grade body composition

98% as accurate as DEXA. We track muscle, visceral fat, and cellular health over time — so weight loss, hormone, and longevity decisions are based on what's actually happening in your body.

CH 04
Peptide therapy

Tools that tune the body, not override it.

Peptides are short chains of amino acids — the same signalling language your body already uses. The reason they work so well is that they are designed to modulate and improve the body's own efficiency, rather than disrupt native signalling the way introducing extra medication or supraphysiologic hormones occasionally can.

We use peptides only when clinically appropriate, and only with as much published science behind the indication as we can stand on. We have direct clinical experience with tesamorelin, BPC-157, semaglutide, tirzepatide, and many others — but the molecule is never the starting point.

Every recommendation is guided by extensive lab testing and tracked against clinical results. If the numbers and how you feel aren't both moving in the right direction, the plan changes. Peptides are a tool in the kit — not the kit.

A different mental model

These conditions are not forever.

Don't think of autoimmune disease, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, or high cholesterol as life sentences. They are usually the body's reaction to decades of lifestyle — and in the right hands, much of that reaction can be reversed in months, not years.

We treat the root cause: sleep, hormones, gut health, inflammation, nutrition, movement, stress, and the metabolic terrain underneath the diagnosis. The medication you're on today is not necessarily the medication you'll be on a year from now.

Our north star is simple — minimum medication, maximum quality of life, for as many years as we can give you.

FAQ

Common questions.

Do you offer primary care or family medicine?

+

Salamat Clinic is a physician-led longevity, functional, and holistic medicine practice that works alongside your primary care or family medicine doctor. We act as a consultant layer — advanced testing, root-cause workups, hormone and metabolic optimisation — while your primary care provider keeps handling base coverage and refills. Patients without an established primary care doctor are welcome and we can help coordinate one.

What is a functional medicine doctor and how is it different from a regular doctor?

+

A functional medicine doctor looks for the root cause of symptoms — gut health, hormones, inflammation, sleep, metabolic terrain — rather than only matching a diagnosis to a medication. At Salamat, functional and holistic medicine is delivered by board-certified physicians, so you get root-cause care without giving up medical rigor.

Do you practice holistic medicine in Atlantic City, NJ?

+

Yes. Our holistic medicine approach treats the whole person — sleep, nutrition, movement, stress, hormones, gut, and labs — and uses medication only when it's the right tool. We serve Atlantic City, Margate, Ventnor, Linwood, Northfield, Egg Harbor Township, Galloway, and the wider Jersey Shore.

What conditions do you help reverse?

+

Type 2 diabetes and pre-diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, autoimmune flares, fatigue, brain fog, perimenopause and andropause symptoms, weight gain, poor sleep, and gut issues are the most common. With root-cause work, many of these are reversible in months, not years.
